Profile: Harry Threlfall
Harry Threlfall has led a varied and interesting life and has travelled extensively in the course of his work.
He married his wife, Barbara, while he was still at Cambridge, and they
had two children who were both born and raised in Africa. On retirement,
they bought a boarding kennel business and turned their hobby into a paying
concern.
Harry decided to document his own life after his son's father-in-law passed away leaving his family knowing very little about the early part of his life.
This is something that happens regularly after a bereavement and Harry chose to spend a few pounds putting his achievements in writing - a permanent legacy that can be handed down to his family members and friends, and a small book that is available to anyone who is interested in the history of our forefathers.
